PAN PIZZA | How to make Pan Pizza from Scratch | Make Pizza at home from Scratch | Stepwise Pictures





Hi SUPERMOMS,

What is the first resto that your kids will vote for if you are planning to go out to dine?

At my place, it is PIZZA HUT! I have always heard my daughter describing PIZZA HUT's PAN PIZZA with such delight and she dubs it as THE MOST DELICIOUS of all! 

Frankly, I was jeolous that my family loved it so much!!!! So, my mission of outbeating the pizza giant's PIZZA in taste....and guess what? I have succeeded in my attempt and today I am going to share with you the recipe to make Yummy Pan Pizza's at home. 





PAN PIZZA :

Preparation time : 45 minutes
Cooking time : 15 minutes
1 Cup = 250 ml
Serves : 6 

INGREDIENTS:

All purpose flour- 5 cups
Salt- 1 tsp
Sugar-1 tbsp
Quick rising yeast /Rapid rise instant yeast-1 tsp
Warm water- 1 1/2 cup( might differ according to the quality of flour)
Olive oil1 tbsp


METHOD:

In a large bowl, add the flour,salt,sugar and yeast. Mix everything together well. Pour luke warm water in the dough and start binfing the dough. Add the oil and keep kneading. Add extra water if you feel that the dough is hard. You should be kneading a little sticky dough. 



The water has to be warm and not HOT!


Make a well and pour the warm water.

Knead for 10 minutes or until you get a smooth dough.  Grease a bowl and place the dough inside and cover it with a damp towel or cling wrap. Place it in a warm place to rise for 25 minutes..
The dough would have reasonably risen and will look like this. 


Take a large oven friendly pan or a baking tray and grease it with butter. 

Punch down the dough. Remove a portion depending upon the size of your pan and place it on the pan. With your hands, just keep expanding the dough to fit the pan. Make an indent on the edges so that the sauce will remain within the margin you have made. The corners will look fluffier. You can use less dough if you want a thinner crust.
My dough was sticky ,but I did not add any extra flour, the pizza was so soft...a complete melt in the mouth!



Add the marinara sauce or any pizza sauce carefully leaving the corners.




Add your favourite toppings and add lots of cheese( I used mozarella and cheddar cheese).Sprinkle oregano /Chilli flakes.


Bake the pizza in a preheated oven at 180 degrees C for 10 -12 minutes or until the top layer gets is browned. 



Your softest, yummiest Pizza is ready!!! 

You can make pizza in different shapes....






                                      



My kid's verdict - "Amma ...this is the tastiest ,yummiest pizza that WE HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!"

Try baking this at home and you can make it more healthier by using glutenfree flours, Whole grain flours and also add plenty of vegetables.
